Are you looking for a fun, family-friendly activity for your pre-schooler
(ages 2.5-5)? New to the area? Want to meet other moms with little
ones? The Town of Porter Story Hour is a great place to start!
CALLING ALL PRESCHOOLERS BRING YOUR MOMS AND DADS IT’S TIME AGAIN FOR THE:
Classes are held
Tuesdays at The Youngstown Library
and
Wednesdays at The Ransomville Library
One class only each day 10-11 am
June 29- Aquarium (Youngstown)
June 30- Petting Zoo (Ransomville)
July 6-Erie Canal (Youngstown)
July 7- Glenn Colton (Ransomville)
July 13-Carnival (Youngstown)
July 14-Clumsey the Clown (Ransomville)
July 20- Nickel City Reptiles (Youngstown)
July 21-Fort Niagara (Ransomville)
July 27-Bubble Man (Youngstown)
July 28-Step in Time (Ransomville) wear your pirate garb! Arrr!
Aug 3- Petting Zoo (Youngstown)
Aug 4-Wild Kritters (Ransomville) we will accept donations all summer long in our “caring and sharing boxes” at each library for the wild kritters.
Please note: some of the Youngstown classes may be held in the gym at the Red Brick school. This is located in the same building as the library.

Easter Egg Hunt
The Town of Porter Recreation Commission will hold their Annual Easter Egg Hunt Saturday,March 27th at 11:00 SHARP, at Stevenson Elementary School, 3745 Ransomville Road, Ransomville, NY The Easter Bunny is scheduled to appear to hand out goody bags to all the children. Golden Eggs for additional prizes are hidden. All Town of Porter Children 11 years and under are welcome.

2010 Summer Recreation Program
At Stevenson Elementary Schoo,l Registration in the school gym June 30th and July 1st,
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Registration before the start of the program is highly advised. People who get the forms on line can request a calendar the first day of attendance. Those enrolling for the first time must have a copy of birth certificate or kindergarten report card stating promotion to 1stgrade.
Summer program starts July 6th - August 12th 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday – Friday)
Program is for children going into 1st grade to and including 10th grade.

Summer Jobs:
The Town of Porter is looking for recreational supervisors to work for the summer recreation program. June28th to August 13th at Stevenson Elementary School Monday thur Friday 9:00am- 3:30pm.
You must be a high school graduate with experience working with large groups of children. Resumes due at the Town Hall 3265 Creek Road Youngstown by May 20th, interviews are June 7 th, in the evening. Pay rate is $8.53 per hour.
