The Town of Porter Recreation Commission is offering a new program called Chair Yoga.
Seated Yoga offers the benefit of gentle yoga, with the confidence of having a chair to hold on to. There are positive changes in your life from this class: more flexibility, less stress, better sleep, better balance and breathing. If you have a health condition, this class provides modifications to allow you to do stretching, breathing work, and movements to benefit your body. The instructor is Brian Ball, an accomplished yoga instructor certified through the Himalayan Institute.
